Blue Grotto

The Blue Grotto, located near "Wied iz-Zurrieq" south of the town of Zur­rieq, mirrors the brilliant phos­pho­res­cent colours of the un­der­wa­ter flora.

Ħaġar Qim is a me­ga­li­thic temple complex, da­ting from the Ġgantija pha­se (3600-3200 BC) - amongst the most ancient religious sites on Earth.

L-Imnajdra temples lies in a hollow 500 m. from Ħaġar Qim. The midd­le temple was inserted bet­ween the others in the Tarxien phase (3100 BC).

Buskett Garden
Ħal Tarxien
The Buskett Garden lo­ca­ted in the fertile valley of Wied Il-Luq, Siġġiewi. In the edge is Ver­da­la Palace (re­si­den­ce of the President of Mal­ta).

The Ħal Tarxien temple complex is found 400 m. east from the Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni. The ear­liest temple was built bet­ween 3600 and 3200 BC.
